CALDO S-I

A modern wood gasification boiler (Holzgas). It is available in a version with side loading, and thanks to the large loading chamber, it is possible to burn wood logs up to 50 cm long. The device has separate chambers: the main chamber, where the fuel degassing process takes place, and the ceramic chamber, where the gas is burned.

General information

The ceramic combustion chamber enables nearly complete combustion with minimal emission of harmful substances, increases efficiency, and reduces fuel consumption. As a result, it reduces the emission of dust, the amount of ash, and difficult-to-remove residues. This solution makes the boiler easier to maintain and requires less frequent cleaning.

The boiler is equipped with an intuitive controller, which ensures the proper operation of the boiler. Its key functions include: a flue gas temperature sensor, control of three pumps, and a valve with an actuator. Additionally, it is possible to connect a room thermostat. A stable combustion process is ensured by the exhaust fan located at the boiler’s flue outlet. The built-in cooling coil with the installed BVTS valve activates automatically to protect the boiler from overheating. The use of certified materials in its construction ensures that the boiler is solid and durable, guaranteeing stable operation for many years.

MPM CALDO S-I – What sets it apart?
The applied solutions and the dry distillation process (also called decomposition distillation or pyrolysis) involve the breakdown of biomass (wood) under the influence of supplied heat. Pyrolysis occurs at temperatures between 200°C and 600°C, with very limited oxygen access. The resulting wood gas is injected into the burner nozzle (made from heat-resistant sheet metal) and burned in the ceramic chamber.
This combustion process contributes to significant fuel savings and environmental protection. Thanks to the technology used, the boiler meets the requirements of Class 5 according to the PN-EN 303-5+A1:2023-05 standard and has an eco-design certificate.
